Health: Excellent, Easy Keeper
Lameness: None - Sound
Vices: None
Personality: Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, trim, trailer, etc. Currently turned out with other horses, ponies and donkeys, all geldings. Prefers to be outside with a shelter, than to be in a stall.
History/Training: Well broke to ride, English and Western, W/T/C. Loves to Jump. Has been shown in the past. Diablo has lots of energy, not a plodder. Great trail horse (but prefers to trail ride with his buddies). His owner that owned him for his entire life, passed away last year, and no one wanted him, so the boarding stable looked after him until now.
Future/Suitability: English, Western, Pleasure Riding, Trails. Lots of Energy. Not for a Beginner. No Riding Schools Please
Adoption Fee/Purchase Price: $500
We accept email money transfers or cash. We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We will never recoup what we have invested into Diablo with his hay, feed, supplements, deworming, farrier, etc, so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for him as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Diablo needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. He has been patiently waiting since Nov '09 and sadly not one potential new home has come to see him during this time.
