Personality: Super Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, trim, trailer, etc. Currently turned out with a group of horses, ponies & donkeys (all mares). Gets along great with geldings too. He loves my dogs and cats so I don't think he would make a great protector for your sheep.
History/Training: Owned by an elderly gentleman that passed away, Slaughterbound - After arriving to HCW we adopted him out to a new family but they have come into financial problems along with so many others these days, so Don has returned to HCW
Future/Suitability: Companion/Pet - A home with another donkey is preferred
** Adoption Fee/Purchase Price: $500
We accept email money transfers or cash. We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We have alot invested into Don with his purchase price, trailering, hay, feed, deworming, farrier, etc. We will never recoup what we have into Don so we understand we will be taking a loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for him, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Don needs and deserves a good permanent loving home.
