Health: Excellent. UTD on Vaccinations: EEE, WEE, Tetanus, WNV, Rabies - June '09

Vices: None
Personality: Friendly but leary of strangers. Easy to lead, tie, trim, trailer, etc. Currently turned out with a herd of horses, ponies and donkeys, all mares. Hard to catch when in a big field. Doesn't like ramp load trailers.
History/Training: English, Western, Trails - Likes to be leader on trails. Enjoys Jumping. Her previous owners believe she was previously abused, so they did alot of work with her getting Goldie to trust them, so she does need to go to a home where she will be handled and ridden gently and lovingly. Previous owners paid $3000 for her and owned her since 2002. He used to lunge her before riding her. She had not been ridden in 3 years prior to coming to HCW due to her owner's health, but we rode her the other day here and she was perfect, but not for a beginner as she takes a few minutes to settle down and trust her rider, and she can be very energetic! Would likely be good at endurance!

Goldie's Regular Price is $1500 obo. To take advantage of this $750 sale price you must have your application approved, pay for Goldie in full and have her picked up (or delivered at your expense) on or before Dec 13, 2009. We have alot invested into Goldie with her hay, feed, supplements, deworming, farrier, training, etc. We will never recoup what we have into Goldie so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Goldie needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since June '09. All offers/trades will be considered, but not necesarily accepted.
