Moose

Barn Name: Moose

Breed: Draft X
Height: 15.1hh
Age: 15-20 y/o
Gender: Gelding
Colour: Bay

Health: Likely has Cushings, Appears Healthy Otherwise
Lameness: None

Vices: None
Personality: Friendly. Easy to Catch, Lead, Groom, Tie, Trailer, etc. Currently out with a herd of geldings (horses, ponies & donkeys).

History/Training: Unknown, Purchased From an Auction, He was Slaughterbound, Broke to Ride, Might be broke to harness as well. We have rode him many times while here at HCW, with all different level of riders, and he has been great. My volunteers went on a 2 hour hack with him and he was perfect! He loves most to just be ridden with a halter and 2 lead ropes!!

Future/Suitability: Light backyard pleasure riding & trails, Companion/Pet

** Adoption Fee/Purchase Price: $1000 obo **

We have at least $2500+ invested into Moose with his purchase price, trailering, hay, feed, supplements, deworming, farrier, etc. We will never recoup what we have into Moose so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for him, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Moose needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. He has been patiently waiting for the right home since Nov '08. All offers/trades will be considered, but not necessarily accepted.
