Sally

Barn Name: Sally

Breed: Pony
Height: 14.0hh-14.1hh
Age: 5 y/o
Gender: Mare
Colour: Liver Chestnut

Health: Excellent
Lameness: None Known - Sound

Vices: Mild Cribber, mainly when locked in a stall
Personality: Friendly. Easy to Catch, Lead, Groom, Tie, Trailer, Farrier, etc. Currently out with a group of mares (horses, ponies & donkeys).

History/Training: Unknown, Purchased From an Auction in Foal, Slaughter Bound. Halter Broke. Was backed a few times in the spring but nothing since then. She would make a nice natural horsemanship project for someone.

Future/Suitability: With further training she should be suitable for pretty much anything ... riding or driving, show or pleasure, english or western

Additional Info: Sally is an easy keeper, she does well outside 24/7 with a shelter or she would be ok being in a stall at night in the winter if needed, but she is happiest outside with her pals and she rarely cribs when out in her field!

Adoption Fee/Purchase Price: Accepting Best Offer

We accept email money transfers or cash. We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We have at least $2200+ invested into Sally with her purchase price, trailering, hay, feed, supplements, deworming, farrier, training, etc. We will never recoup what we have into Sally so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Sally needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since Feb '09.

If you recognize this horse and know anything about her history we would love to hear from you! We named her Sally when she arrived at HCW so she may have been known by a different name previously.
