Lameness: Has foundered in the past. We have kept her sound however she needs to be kept off the spring grass, and will do best on timothy square bales.
Vices: None
Personality: Friendly. Easy to catch, lead, groom, tie, trim, trailer, etc. Currently turned out with a herd of horses, ponies & donkeys, all mares. Doesn't like spray bottles, water/mud puddles or water hose.
History/Training: English, Western, On the trails she is not a leader, she likes to follow. She had not been ridden in 3 years prior to coming to HCW due to her owner's health, but we rode her the other day here and she was perfect! Previous owners paid $2700 for her and owned her since 2002.
Future/Suitability: If her founder is kept under control she should be able to continue as a pleasure & trail pony, possibly even some showing

Sunny's Regular Price is $1500 obo. To take advantage of this $1000 sale price you must have your application approved, pay for Sunny in full and have her picked up (or delivered at your expense) on or before April 5, 2010. We accept email money transfers or cash. We no longer accept cheques due to all of the NSF cheques we have received in the past. We have alot invested into Sunny with her hay, feed, supplements, deworming, farrier, etc. We will never recoup what we have into Sunny so we understand we will be taking a huge loss, and we are used to that, but we do need to get something for her, as we cannot help more horses, ponies and donkeys until we find good homes for the ones that are here. The adoption fees are very important in keeping HCW running. Sunny needs and deserves a good permanent loving home. She has been patiently waiting since June '09 and not one potential new home has come to see her during this time.
